Pablo Maristany de las Casas is an Analyst at ISD focusing on pro-Kremlin, pro-CCP, and pro-Iranian information threats to the US and EU and their links to far-right and conspiracy groups, particularly in Germany. Additionally, he researches VLOP’s content moderation practices on hateful and extremist content. Previously, Pablo was an Open-Source Researcher for Amnesty International’s Evidence Lab, conducting digital investigations during his one-year tenure at Amnesty Germany and founding the Hertie School Digital Verification Corps chapter. As a Programme Assistant at the Aspen Institute Germany’s GATTD project, he researched AI and platform regulation within the transatlantic relationship. Pablo graduated with an MIA in Human Rights as a recipient of the IPLI Foundation grant and the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes scholarship.
